"Thanks for your help with my decision to purchase the Peak T-5. Took it out for a spin this afternoon and really like it. It handles the gravel roads very well even the areas where, during mud season, the town dumped 1-1/2" crushed stone. So far so good!"
"Made Great Memories! Woah. They are so accommodating it’s insane. The staff was so knowledgeable and informative. I had a great experience and will return to utilize everything else they offer."
"Great bike ride -- We took the e-bike tour of Hanover and Dartmouth college, it was great. The staff was very friendly, both Jacob and Paul. The tour was excellent, well guided and the bikes we’re in great condition. And with the short training provided, very easy to use."
"I stayed at the HAT hostel for a couple of nights while I was taking a class at King Arthur Baking Company. It was a great experience! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The full kitchen was a great bonus. I took advantage of the hiking shuttle to do a day hike as well. Wish I would have had time to try out the e-bikes too. Highly recommend for others staying in town!"
"HAT is a welcome addition to our local area in my opinion! I heard of them last year but rented 2 bikes from them recently and had a great experience. Kyle, who got us set up with our rental was very pleasant and welcoming, he made sure we were comfortable with everything and answered all our questions. The bikes are new, high quality, and in great shape. There was a large range of size options to accommodate us. Prices were better than other locations, and I am happy to give them my business in the future.
We were able to take our bikes to the Rail Trial 20 minutes away, I would highly recommend this route as it goes on forever, and is far more scenic and safe than road routes. We look forward to working with HAT in the future, and possibly purchasing some bikes as well."
"A Great Sales Experience and Outcome! Delighted to find the Magnum Pathfinder locally - it is perfect for my biking needs! Jacob was Great!!"
"Hanover Adventure Tours is an amazing outfit in so many ways. First, it is female owned and operated, which is a rarity in the outdoors/adventure tourism industry. Second, the staff are skilled, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do, which is to say they do what it takes to provide an extraordinary experience.
In September of 2021, we scheduled a combination 20+ mile farmstead bike tour with a four mile forest hike, and it was our best day in New Hampshire by far. Lest the biking distance seem off-putting, rest easy; HAT has amazing e-bikes that reduce the steepest mountains to molehills!
Planning and logistics were a breeze. In fact, Jayne Trailer our principal Tour Manager kept in touch with us before and during our travels to New Hampshire, to answer questions, offer advice on logistics, and generally to confirm that we had everything we needed for a great outdoor experience.
Of course, an itinerary is nothing without the right guides. Jayne and her colleague MaKensi were our remarkable team leaders for the day. They shared historical highlights, cultural insights and even provided guidance on local farming techniques -- all to explain the richness of New Hampshire life in Grafton County. We saw and learned so much that we NEVER would have found on our own. Which may explain why the entire day FLEW by! HAT offers an incomparable experience. Low key, extremely personable and lots of fun. A genuine 5-Star recommendation!"
"Wow! Love this place! Friendly, clean & fun! Best hostel so far! Stopped cause Yahtzee took a fall and messed hand up. Need ice, ugh! Wish all hostels were as nice. Thank you! Have a great hike & day, god loves you :)”
"This was a great zero! Nice weather to sit by the river and have a beer. Going into town made me want to go back to school… haha maybe not such an expensive one! Lovely people and large amounts of coffee really made the stay cozy.”
"Ebike farm stand tour -- We were 4 family members (2 couples) all over age 70. One of our riders was visually impaired. Our two guides (one in training) did a great job keeping us all happy and upbeat in 93 degrees! We were of different biking abilities, but the guides were able to teach us how to use our e-bikes to keep us mostly together. When a couple of us struggled on the last hill, the guides got us up and running again and on the home stretch. I enjoyed the Vermont history and back woods scenery. We had a lovely lunch at Cedar Circle Farm. We rode on all types of roads and got better and better at using our e-bikes!"
"Easily one of the nicer hostels I’ve ever seen in 1,700 miles. Excited for dat breakfast woo!"
"Great hostel. Loved the staff, the facilities, the shuttles, the e-bikes, all-in-all a perfect stay.”
