Owner & Founder
Robert is a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War who has lived in Hanover, NH for over 30 years. His move from Georgia to Montreal for a computer communications opportunity marked the first of many entrepreneurial experiences across the U.S. Having always enjoyed outdoor adventure, his major passions include sailing, hiking, biking, skiing, health & fitness, and starting businesses.
Chief Executive Officer
Chip joined the Hanover Adventure Tours team in 2020 and brings over 40 years of business experience across the specialty retail, consumer products, entertainment and hospitality sectors. Chip grew up in the Philadelphia area and now resides in South Woodstock, VT with his wife. They enjoy hiking, backpacking, cycling, and skiing with their two grown children.
Kim grew up in Hanover, NH and attended Loyola University Maryland where she studied marketing and rowed competitively. Kim has a master's degree from the Harvard Extension School and works as a Marketing Manager at Harvard Business School Executive Education. Her major passions include rowing, biking, traveling, and skiing.
Marketing Manager & Tour Designer
Jayne spent the last few months hiking the Appalachian Trail and then decided to move from Florida to the Upper Valley. With a background in advertising and graphic design, and a desire to seek adventure and explore the outdoors, Jayne is taking on New England.
Ruthy spent her childhood in many different countries, but after living in, and experiencing some of the world's best hiking trails in New Zealand, moved to Norwich, VT. She studied graphic design at Lyndon State College and currently works for Horsley Witten Group, Inc., in Sandwich, MA. Her passions include rowing, hiking, skiing, and enjoying a good camp fire with friends!
Operations & Strategy
Calley lives in Central Vermont and is a co-owner of Fat Toad Farm. With a history as a food, farm and business consultant, she enjoys the combination of work and the great outdoors. Her major passions include photography, agriculture, travel, and hiking.
Frank has lived in the Upper Valley for the majority of his life. He has spent time working as a registered mechanic and currently helps to assist with all property renovations and bike mechanics. His major passions include modifying cars, camping, and motorcycles.
